leather gloves

Have u seen any indian woman wearing leather gloves?
i came to delhi from UK in winter season and was surprised that no women wear leather gloves here?
Do women wear gloves here in winters and what kinda gloves do they prefer? since leather gloves are a fashion statement there in UK with ladies , is it like different here?
So,ladies who live in india…..would u prefer leather gloves over woolen ones in winters?
